The All-Ukrainian Kempo-Karate tournament is held at the Polytechnic

The All-Ukrainian Kempo-Karate tournament was held in the precincts of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”. About 200 athletes from all over Ukraine had the opportunity to demonstrate their sportsmanship, and the winners of the competition were awarded certificates and medals of the tournament.

On December 11, the All-Ukrainian Kempo-Karate tournament was held at the sports base of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, in which about 200 athletes from all over Ukraine took part.

11 teams took part in the competition: Budo Federation team (Poltava city), Kempo team (Kharkiv city), “Bulat” Sports Club (Krasnohrad city), “Taipan” Sports Club (Pryluky city), “Legion” Sports Club (Okhtyrka city), “Lutador” Sports Club (Onufriievka city), team of the Poltava Taekwondo Federation GTF, “Leader” Sports Club (Poltava city), team “Academy of Martial Arts” (Poltava city), “Sport Max” Sports Club (Oleksandriia city), “Pit Fighter” Sports Club (Znamenka city).

“I convey sincere words of congratulations from the rector of our university – Volodymyr Onyshchenko, with wishes for strength and faith in Victory. Volodymyr Oleksandrovych is the head of the Sports Student Union of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Federation of Student Sports in the Poltava region.

Our sports base of the university is always open and we are always happy to hospitably invite, organize and conduct various sports and mass events in the field of physical culture and health. So I wish everyone a thirst for victory and good health.

Thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, we all have the opportunity to lead our front and conduct such events. Glory to Ukraine!” – congratulated all sports fans the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the university, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Lina Rybalko.

The All-Ukrainian Kempo-Karate tournament began with the eyes on the national flag of Ukraine raising and a minute’s silence in honour of our compatriots who died as a result of the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine.

Honoured guests came to the opening ceremony of the competition – the president of the International Federation “Kempo Karate and Kobudo”, winner of the World Cup in Kempo, world champion in Kempo, 6 dan Kempo Jutsu Borys Sushynskyi; Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Lina Rybalko; Chief Specialist of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Department of Youth and Sports of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Kostiantyn Horulko; Head of the Budo Federation in the Poltava Region, National Category Judge Oleh Chernetskyi.

“Dear friends, colleagues and compatriots. We are pleased to welcome you to the All-Ukrainian Kempo-Karate tournament. The best representatives of their clubs gathered here. I am glad that you have found the strength to train, improve and continue your path in mastering martial arts, hardening yourself spiritually and physically. I wish everyone victory, first of all over oneself,” – wished president of the International Federation “Kempo Karate and Kobudo” Borys Sushynskyi.

“Good afternoon to all participants of the competition, coaches, athletes, organizers of the event. I want to congratulate you on the All-Ukrainian Kempo-Karate tournament and wish you good health. Thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, we have the opportunity to train, show our skills at regional and all-Ukrainian competitions and glorify our Ukraine beyond our borders. We believe that everything will be fine. We would like to wish the athletes victory, the coaches – support, and the judges – fair judging,” – said Kostiantyn Horulko.

The head of the Budo Federation in the Poltava region Oleh Chernetskyi congratulated the sports community, thanked everyone for participating in these competitions and emphasized that Kempo is art and spirituality.

According to the results of the competition, the winners of the tournament were awarded certificates and medals.

On the same weekend, the Poltava Polytechnic hosted complex sports competitions among deputies and civil servants of the Poltava region.
