Poltava Oil and Gas College of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” – the best college in Poltava region, has admitted almost 300 students. The volume of the state order amounted to 200 places. This is the largest number among Poltava institutions of professional education.
The most popular specialties are maintenance and repair of oil and gas field equipment, operation of oil and gas wells, and software engineering.

The director of the college Liubov Shumska greeted the students and noted that each of them has the opportunity to continue their studies at Poltava Polytechnic – one of the best Ukrainian universities and a leader in higher education in the Poltava region.
Victoria Bova, the head of the college’s student council and a member of the city’s Youth Council, is a student majoring in Oil and Gas Engineering and Technology, who after the end of the second year received a certificate of completion of general secondary education with honors for outstanding academic achievements (gold medal). Together with the director of the college, the rector of the university presented her with an award and a certificate.
All first-year students took the oath of the student, promising to bear the title of college student with dignity, not to spare energy and time to master the sciences and gain deep and comprehensive knowledge, make every effort to master the profession, strengthen and multiply the traditions of the educational institution.
Further communication with first-year students took place in the auditoriums of the college, where department heads and mentors introduced new students to the peculiarities of the educational process.
By September 1, the college had renovated its classrooms, equipped them with modern furniture and appliances, and created a new robotics laboratory.
