The popular science event “Night of Youth Science-2022” will traditionally be held on World Science Day on 10 November 2022. The event will be streamed online on the Facebook page of the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The event is aimed at promoting the scientific achievements of young scientists, establishing cooperation between young scientists, and establishing links with key stakeholders and foreign partners in times of war. Nearly fifty young scientists from different regions of Ukraine, Poland and Hungary will take part in discussions of the most pressing issues of youth science, presenting the results of their research to a wide audience in an interesting way. The thematic focus of the announced presentations covers a wide range of topical issues in various spheres of life – from economic to social and humanitarian.
The second significant event of the scientific November will be the implementation of the advanced training course “Scientist Brand in the Digital World”. The training is scheduled to take place from 21 to 27 November 2022 in an online format.
Participation in the course is free. Registration will last until 15 November 2022 at the link.
Scientists and teachers who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of 30 hours/1 ECTS credit.
The course is designed to help deepen the knowledge and skills necessary for scientists to successfully promote their own brand, present their research results, find potential investors or employers, and improve existing and acquired competencies for successful communication and self-presentation.
The course consists of four thematic blocks:
- successful presentation;
- image of a scientist in the digital society;
- use of open science tools as well as scientific and metric databases to popularise one’s own scientific results;
- digital technologies and social networks to promote scientific achievements.
