While students are on distance learning due to the deterioration of epidemiological situation in the region, at the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" repair and renovate educational facilities, continue to replace the doors and equip the scientific and educational space with new furniture made in the university's own furniture department.
In three educational buildings – "P", "A" and "F", 17 modern large lecture halls were qualitatively renovated, which can accommodate up to 90 people. Repair work is continuing according to a plan and after completing the online learning, university students will return to modern cozy classrooms and gain knowledge in the comfortable conditions of one of the best universities in Ukraine.
"The problem has been solved comprehensively – 17 modern classrooms have already been renovated, since the university realizes that it is necessary to effectively use budget funds, investing them in its own development, in the future, in quality education of Poltava Polytechnic students. Taking the opportunity, when all students are on distance learning, we are at the end of the repair work and planning to meet our students during offline learning already in the new classrooms. University specialists performed a detailed prove-out of the walls and roofs, made all the necessary calculations and updated the interior of the classrooms.
It is important that our students not only receive quality knowledge, but also get used to the European level of comfortable living conditions in the classrooms and laboratories of our university.
Together with the representatives of the student parliament we checked the readiness of the classrooms for starting offline learning. We were completely satisfied with what we saw. Therefore, we invite entrants from Poltava and its region to pay attention to the progressive, modern, European university, one of the leaders among modern higher education institutes, which creates all the necessary conditions for quality knowledge, which over time can help get a good job, high results and bring satisfaction," – commented the rector of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko. The head of Poltava Polytechnic together with the representatives of the student parliament personally saw the quality of the repair work.
According to the President of the Student Parliament of Poltava Polytechnic Liudmyla Bylym, the university is dynamically and continuously changing, which reflects the ongoing development of the educational institution.
"Over the past few years, the material and technical base of the university has been significantly modernized, which evokes only positive emotions in students. Looking at the scale of the work done, it immediately becomes clear that the university cares about the comfortable and high-quality education of its students. The central figure is always a student who is cared for here, by creating all the conditions for his comprehensive and harmonious development. The most important thing is to take care of your health and life, and Poltava Polytechnic is looking forward to seeing you!" – Liudmyla Bylym emphasized.
Earlier, the coordinator of the vaccination campaign from COVID-19 in Poltava region met with students of the Polytechnic.
