By his Decree No. 853/2022, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, has awarded lifetime and two-year state scholarships to 81 outstanding figures of culture and art.
Honoured Architect of Ukraine, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in architecture, member of the board of the Poltava regional organization of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine, Doctor of Architecture, Head of the Department of Town Planning and Architecture of the Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Management of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Acting Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Work, Professor Vadym Vadimov became a holder of a two-year state scholarship.
“Poltava Polytechnic staff is a community of authoritative scientists and professionals who make a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian education, science and culture. It is very gratifying when the achievements of our colleagues are recognized at the highest level.
State scholarships for outstanding figures of science, education, culture and art, health care, physical culture and sports, as well as the information sphere, which are appointed by the President of Ukraine, testify to the outstanding personal achievements of the scholarship holders. Undoubtedly, dear Vadym Mytrofanovych has many achievements as an outstanding professional in a very creative field. As the author of many urban and architectural projects, the former chief architect of Poltava, he repeatedly proved that an architect is a profession in which a person can change the future.
Such successful practicing teachers who share their professional secrets and improve educational programs in accordance with the current requirements of the profession are extremely important for the education of students. I sincerely thank you for the fact that since 1985 you have devoted yourself to the training of young specialists and the education of new generations of successful Poltava Polytechnic graduates. I congratulate you on such a special state recognition and wish you many more years of fruitful work for the benefit of Ukrainian education and culture!” – congratulated the rector, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko.
It should be recalled that three scientists of the Poltava Polytechnic receive lifetime scholarships of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for outstanding services in the field of higher education.
