Three Polytechnic students become scholarship holders of the Poltava City Council

In accordance with the decision of the Executive Committee of the Poltava City Council, three students of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” were awarded personal scholarships of the Poltava City Council for their high academic achievements as well as active participation in the public work of the university.

Three Polytechnic students become scholarship holders of the Poltava City Council

On November 3, 2022, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Poltava City Council took place, at which they voted to award a personal scholarship to the best 24 students of professional and higher education institutions in the city of Poltava. Scholarships are awarded to those students who have an average grade point of no less than 4.5 or who have distinguished themselves by special achievements in public work at a higher or professional education institution, in the field of art, science or sports.

Scholarship holders of the Poltava City Council were:

  • Artem Sosnin, student of the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas, scholarship holder of the President of Ukraine in 2021, winner of the All-Ukrainian competition of students’ scientific papers in the “Ecology” specialty;
  • Omelian Shchur-Dunets, student of the Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Management;
  • Ruslana Borodai, student of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy.

The monthly scholarship for students is 1,500 hryvnias. The payment period is from September 1 to December 31, 2022.

The scientific and pedagogical staff as well as student team of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” sincerely congratulate the scholarship holders and wish them new achievements in educational and scientific activity.

It should be recalled that in the summer three university students and a college student received nominal scholarships from the Poltava City Council, a Polytechnic student was named the best student – public figure of the Poltava region, along with three students becoming nominees, and during the 2021-2022 academic year, 84 Polytechnic students became winners of the All-Ukrainian competition for student scientific papers.

Earlier, the winners of the first stage of the XIII Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literary Competition for Pupils and Student Youth were determined.
