This year, 12 students of higher education institutions of the Poltava region were awarded scholarships, three of them were students of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”:
- Viktoriia Vakula, student of Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”;
- Mariia Zaitseva, student of the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”;
- Valeriia Koniukhova, student of Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”.
The Rector of Poltava Polytechnic Volodymyr Onyshchenko congratulated the top students on their achievement, talked to them, presented them with symbolic gifts and thanked them for setting an example for the students today:
“Motivated young people get a well-deserved reward for their intellectual work! We are proud of you! I wish you new scientific achievements, creative ideas and success in your studies!”
In addition to their academic achievements, Mariia Zaitseva and Viktoriia Vakula were active participants of the Charity School from the National Bank and were awarded with the Citations of Poltava City Council for their significant contribution to the development of student self-government, and the future rehabilitation specialist Valeriia Koniukhova became a two-time Ukrainian powerlifting champion as well as a European powerlifting champion among girls.
It should be recalled that Ukrnafta launched a scholarship programme for students of Poltava Polytechnic and the first winners received certificates for nominal scholarships, Polytechnic students were also awarded scholarships named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, the Verkhovna Rada and the President of Ukraine.
Recently, the president of the Euroclub was elected at the university, and 28 students of the Poltava region became ambassadors of the Gender Centre of Poltava Polytechnic.
