The team of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” entered the IV semi-finals of the startup project competition “Try it too!”, organized by the public organization “Innovative Generation” (Kharkiv city) together with the Office of Innovative Development and Image Projects of the Department of Family Affairs, Youth and Sports of the Kharkiv City Council, the Regional Council of Young Scientists under the Department of Education and Science of the Volyn Regional State Administration as part of the Create Creative Entrepreneurs project of the Creative Spark: HigherEducation Enterprise Program from the British Council with the support of the University of Bedfordshire (Luton, Great Britain), the Kharkiv National University of Economics named after Semen Kuznets, the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy and the Ukrainian Association for the Development of Management and Business Education.
15 teams of students and teachers-mentors were selected for the semi-finals of the competition, presenting their own startup ideas in all four competition nominations – “Creative and Craft Business”, “Social Impact”, “Digital Technologies” and “Climate Change”.
Teams of students and teachers-mentors were represented by:

- National University of Pharmacy;
- Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University;
- State Higher Educational Institution “Novovolyn Electromechanical College”;
- Lviv State University of Life Safety;
- Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy;
- Kharkiv National University of Economics named after Semen Kuznets;
- V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University;
- Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University.
Based on the results of the competitive selection, the finalist teams will receive co-financing for prototyping and start preparing for the competition finals. Participants will receive start-up training with the creation of a business model; video pitching training; presentations of startup ideas.
The organizers express their sincere gratitude to the semi-finalist teams for their excellent and relevant ideas, as well as their common desire to revive and build a successful Ukraine.
