Within the framework of the cooperation agreement and partnership with the Poltava City Council as well as the Memorandum on the implementation of the program for the creation and support of an innovation cluster in the city of Poltava, a meeting was held at the university with the coordinator of the Ukraine Global Faculty project, Doctor of Economic Sciences Victor Halasiuk, with the participation of vice-rectors, directors of educational and research institutes, deans of faculties and deputy director of the Department of Economics and Investments – head of the Strategic Development Department, member of the Poltava City Council Vlada Spivak.
The Ukraine Global Faculty initiative is coordinated by the Vasyl Khmelnytsky K.FUND Charitable Foundation. Its goal is to attract teachers from all over the world to provide Ukrainian students and professionals with access to the most up-to-date online lectures and workshops.
This opens up prospects not only for the university as a scientific and educational center – students and scientists will have access to the most up-to-date online lectures and master classes of the world's leading teachers and scientists, but also for the entire Poltava city-territorial community.
At the first stage of project implementation, the coordinators establish partnerships with approximately 15 leading Ukrainian universities.

The Ukrainian Global Faculty will also promote equal cooperation, academic mobility and interdisciplinary cooperation, as well as strengthen Ukraine's international partnership. During the project, we will focus on live interaction, in addition, we work on the selection of TOP professionals, teachers, scientists who are fluent in a particular topic and can import their own knowledge to the student youth," – emphasized the coordinator of the Ukraine Global Faculty project, Doctor of Economic Sciences Viktor Halasiuk.
According to the first vice-rector – the Vice-rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and Economic Development of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" Olena Filonych, the university is ready to become part of a powerful professional team that will be able to adequately implement the courses of the world's leading scientists at the international level and contribute with its own achievements, as well as popularize the idea of a large-scale educational project.

Recently, the first in Ukraine Center for Education and Care of Preschool Children on the basis of higher education institution was opened at the Polytechnic.
Previously, Poltava Polytechnic University signed a trilateral Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Education and Science, the and NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, with the London Metropolitan University, and concluded an agreement on a dual degree program with the Krakow Mining and Metallurgy Academy.
