The rules of safe behaviour, which are discussed in the lessons, must be known to everyone who lives in Ukraine, since the complete clearing of the country from mines will continue for years even after the end of the war.
The leader of the Ukrainian music band TNMK, and now a military volunteer of “Revanche” battalion Oleh Fahot Mykhailiuta, became the host of the course.
The 25-minute course involves reviewing five short lessons that address the main questions about explosive objects and the rules for handling them.
Fahot, together with Ivan Shepeliev, an expert of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, simply and easily explains what explosive objects are and the principles of their action, how and where the enemy can leave behind mines, projectiles and trip wire mines.
The course participants will also learn where to look for official information about whether certain areas are safe and how to properly talk about mine safety with children of different ages.
