Rector of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", Doctor of Economics, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko and Rector of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Oleh Novomlynets signed an agreement on cooperation in scientific and technical sphere as well as implementation of educational activities at the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education.
"Since 2015, the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" and the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University consistently cooperate in the field of science and education. We started with jointly organized conferences – International Scientific and Practical Conference "Mathematical and Simulation Systems’ Modeling", All-Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Conference "Computer Mathematics in Science, Engineering and Education", Scientific and Practical Internet Conference "Organizational and legal aspects of public management in Ukraine", scientific works, exchange of experience and mutual opposition during the defence of dissertation researches.
We launched a new phase of alliance in April this year, signing a cooperation agreement in the educational and scientific spheres and are already implementing joint projects of academic mobility for lecturers and students.
Field meeting of the scientific and practical conference "Modern Economic Science: Theory and Practice" is one of the examples of academic mobility for scientific and pedagogical staff.
The continuation will be the professional development of lecturers, including the basics of robotics in the training laboratory CyberRoboLab and programming in the Educational and Scientific Siemens Center of Poltava Polytechnic, the beginning of the practice of mutual guest lectures and trainings (in the specialties "Public Governance and Administration", "Law", "Computer Science", "Computer Engineering"), conducting an interdepartmental discussion platform: "Innovative approaches in teaching foreign languages", creation of joint startup projects by university students on the basis of Startup School of Poltava Polytechnic.
And now we are expanding the scope of our partnership, caring about the preparation of scientific personnel. We will work on the organization of joint preparation of scientific personnel for educational and scientific programs for the preparation of doctors of philosophy, improvement of educational and scientific programs and joint scientific researches in priority areas of science and technology in order to effectively use and develop the scientific potential of our universities.
Congratulations to the teams of both Polytechnics, we will continue to fill the agreements with hands-on cases and I wish us all new scientific achievements!" – commented Rector Volodymyr Onyshchenko.
It should be recalled that the subject of the cooperation agreement in educational and scientific spheres between National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" and Chernihiv Polytechnic National University is mutual interest in joint development of educational, scientific and innovative potential, including collaborative researches, in particular, the implementation of academic mobility of those receiving higher education and scientific and pedagogical staff, the publication of the results of joint researches in highly cited publications indexed by international databases Scopus and Web of Science.
In the 2nd semester of the 2021-2022 academic year, programs of internal academic mobility of bachelor's students in the educational programs "Tourism" and "Marketing" are introduced.
On the principle of internal academic mobility, a field meeting of the XI All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference "Modern Economic Science: Theory and Practice" on the basis of Chernihiv Polytechnic – National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" was represented by a delegation of 14 scientists.
