Priority measures and planning of the next stage of project implementation became the main issues of the agenda.

According to the rector of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko, the university has already completed significant preparatory work at the first stage, so the existing developments is a guarantee of the successful implementation of this project.

“For our university, participation in such a large-scale state project is an extremely long-awaited event. We sincerely hope that this year we will work systematically for the maximum result!

The project provides not only for thermal insulation of buildings, modernization of heating systems, installation of modern ventilation systems, but also the introduction of an energy management system and ensuring the sustainable effect of the implemented energy efficiency measures. These are the so-called “green investments” in knowledge and the transition to new technologies in the educational space.

During the meeting, we exchanged constructive considerations, deliberated on the first developments, involving scientists and practitioners in the discussion. Scientists of the Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Management of the Poltava Polytechnic under the leadership of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Construction and Civil Engineering Oleksandr Semko performed an examination of the technical conditions of construction and operation of the above-mentioned infrastructure facilities, prepared the relevant technical documentation. The next step is a number of works performed by the contractor organization to inspect and research all buildings and edifices, prepare technical documentation and directly implement thermomodernization works.

Coordinated teamwork for a common result is the main goal and principle of cooperation. The state, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and each participating university are interested in the successful implementation of the thermomodernization project.
