From 10 to 14 October, 2024, the Kettlebell World Championship were held in Corfu, Greece. The large-scale sporting event was attended by 330 participants from 31 countries, who fought hard for the championship and showcased excellent physical results.
The athletes of the Kettlebell Lifting Section – students of Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports, Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy, Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” – took part in the World Championships and won 26 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 1 bronze medal, showing good results in the confrontations with experienced rivals.

- Arina Dymarchuk, student of group 101-EMl, Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law;
- Artem Dulenko, student of group D2FS, Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports;
- Oleksandr Tsybulko, student of group D4FS, Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports.







Athletes of Poltava Polytechnic performed well at prestigious competitions and won a full set of awards of the tournament, including the top prizes:
- Yelyzaveta Myrna won 3 gold and 1 silver medal among adults:

І place – push long cycle;
I place – triathlon;
II place – snatch.
- Anton Chuiko won 3 gold and 1 silver medals:
I place – junior snatch;
I place – junior push;
I place – junior biathlon;
II place – adult biathlon.
- Valerii Kolomiiets won 4 gold medals among juniors:
I place – push;
I place – snatch;
I place – biathlon;
I place – relay.
- Anhelina Konyhina won 1 bronze medal in the snatch with a random change of hands.
- Oleksandr Svyrydenko won 5 gold and 1 silver medals:
among adults

I place – triathlon;
II place – push;
among juniors
I place – push relay.
- Arina Dymarchuk won 2 gold medals in the +68 kg weight category:
I place – snatch (89 times);
I place – clean and jerk (194 times).
- Artem Dulenko won 6 gold medals:
among adults in the weight category up to 85 kg

among juniors
I place – push;
I place – snatch;
I place – biathlon;
I place – push relay;
I place – long cycle relay.
- Oleksandr Tsybulko won 3 gold medals in the 78 kg weight category among juniors:

The winners and runners-up were awarded with honorary diplomas as well as gold, silver and bronze medals.
