The administration, academic workers and students of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” are deeply saddened and express their deepest condolences to the family regarding the irreparable loss – the untimely death of Maksym Sinelnyk, a graduate of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law. His strong spirit, zest for life, and desire to help others will forever remain in the hearts of his relatives, friends, colleagues, university mentors, and fans of creativity.
The short, but extremely bright life path of a charismatic, creative personality is a worthy example for the motivation of modern pupils and students.
In 2017, Maksym graduated with a gold medal from the specialized secondary school of I-III grades No. 3 named after V. O. Nyzhnychenko of Horishni Plavni City Council.
During his studies at the school, he became a multiple winner of the I, II and III stages of the All-Ukrainian competition/defence of research works of students who are members of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In 2016, he became the absolute winner of the regional literary competition of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine “Echoes of the Wills of Countrymen”.
The versatile gifted young man decided to get his higher education, mastering specialty 072 “Finance, Banking and Insurance” at the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”.
During his studies at the Poltava Polytechnic, he was remembered by his classmates and teachers for his colossal perseverance, punctuality as well as success in studies and scientific work, becoming an example of positive motivation and responsibility in everything he undertakes. He graduated his bachelor’s degree with honours. After graduation, he focused on creative work — he made projects as a sound engineer, worked on the “Novynach” channel.
Unfortunately, the plans to finish the master’s degree at the Poltava Polytechnic could not be realized – the deterioration of the state of health prevented it.
Maksym’s activities since the beginning of the full-scale invasion deserve special respect. He created the channel “State Memes Bureau” and worked on the creation of original author’s content. Despite numerous inconveniences, Maksym wrote captions and texts for memes, typing letters using the on-screen keyboard.
He directed his efforts to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, holding regular fundraisers for the needs of defenders. Maksym managed to collect more than 1.5 million hryvnias and he inspired many to bring Victory closer in every possible way.
According to everyone who knew Maksym Sinelnyk, he was a purposeful and motivating person, so strong in spirit that, despite numerous obstacles, he was able to bring a lot of benefit to society and the state.
We lost an outstanding Ukrainian, but his good deeds immortalized him – he left a deep mark on our land.
May the good, bright memory of university graduate Maksym Sinelnyk live in the hearts of all who knew, loved and respected him.
In the history of the Poltava Polytechnic, Maksym will remain a special student – a talented, unique and open source of goodness.
