The key to the competitiveness of an accounting and taxation specialist is deep theoretical knowledge of accounting, auditing and analysis, as well as the ability to use various accounting software. That is why National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" keeps up with the times, constantly increasing the level of digitization of the educational process and increasing the number of software studied by students of higher education majoring in 071 "Accounting and Taxation".
It should be recalled that on October 11, 2022, a significant event took place – a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" and the software development company "Debit Plus". As a result of its successful implementation, students of the specialty 071 "Accounting and Taxation" of the Poltava Polytechnic had the opportunity to study the "Debit-plus v 12" software during the second semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. The future professionals received certificates of successful completion of the course on automated complex accounting and financial accounting in the "Debit Plus v 12" software environment.
The ceremonial awarding of certificates took place on June 2, 2023 with the participation of the stakeholder of the Department of Finance, Banking and Taxation, Marketing Director of Debit Plus company Serhii Mozhovyi, who congratulated the students, wished them further achievements and offered to expand cooperation in the next semester by diversifying the specialized software, which will be studied by students of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic".
The guarantor of the educational program "Accounting and Taxation", Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Yevheniia Karpenko thanked Serhii Mozhovyi for his involvement in the educational process, participation in the discussion of educational programs of the specialty 071 "Accounting and Taxation" at the bachelor's and master's levels and provided relevant recommendations for their improvement, and also for interesting and useful lectures, which are systematically held by the "Debit Plus" company for those seeking education.
It should be recalled that the marketing director of the Debit Plus company gave a lecture to the students about the features of financial reporting automation.
Recently, the scientists of the Poltava Polytechnic have successfully completed their internship under the Erasmus+ programme at the Romanian partner university, the representative of the LLC "Ukrainian Energy Exchange" shared with the students effective cases of anti-crisis management in the field of the energy market, and the students, as well as teachers of the university, became participants in an international educational online project with the Dutch partner university.
