University To Host “What? Where? When? - Republican Style” Game

On June 19, National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” will host the first “What? Where? When? - Republican Style” game of the lockdown (a kind of trivia game). The intellectual competition will be dedicated to Yuri Kondratyuk’s Birthday and to the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow.

On June, 21, 1997, on the occasion of celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Yuri Kondratyuk’s birthday, the government decided to name our university after the famous space exploration therorist, Ukrainian scientist and inventor. In 2017, university opened the monument to the genius from Poltava to the 120th anniversary of his birthday.

“After a thee-month long break, the Club “What? Where? When? - Republican Style” resumes its intellectual games. The 12th game of the 6th season will be held on next Friday at 18:30 at National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”. Hand sanitizers and temperature screening are provided by the organizers. Masks and individual hand sanitizers should be brought with you,” announced Oleh Slizko, a member of the All-Ukrainian Organizational Committee of All-Ukrainian Youth Civic Organization “Students’ Republic”.

The game is open, any team can participate and not only the members of the Club. It is strictly required to follow the anti-pandemic measures, including the personal protection means, temperature screening, keeping safe distance according to the lockdown limitation.

The organizers are National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” and the All-Ukrainian Youth Civic Organization “Students’ Republic”.

Location is the park zone of the university and the central alley near the monument to Yuri Kondratyuk.
