US scientific research institutions will receive funding to support Ukrainian students, doctoral students and scientists

The Department of Energy Office of Science of the United States, in connection with the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, provides funding for the remuneration of Ukrainian scientists to ensure a "safe and favorable environment for students, doctoral students and scientists from Ukraine to continue their research."

DOE’s Office of Science funds U.S. scientific research institutions (not directly Ukrainians) and encourages the employment of Ukrainian students, teachers, and scientists (provides them with pay and other expenses related to employment, moving to the United States, providing visa support, etc.).
