Volunteers organize a charity concert for academic staff

After the closing of the solemn meeting of the Academic Council, a charity concert for the staff was held on the occasion of University Day.

The founder of the University Volunteer Headquarters, Rector's Advisor on Youth Policy, Polytechnic graduate Artem Loik spoke about the first steps of the Volunteer Headquarters of the Poltava Polytechnic.

"Before reporting, I would like to say that we would not have succeeded if we had not been supported by students, teachers, vice-rectors and rector of the Poltava Polytechnic – Volodymyr Onyshchenko. In the first days, together with the Student Self-Government, we took the initiative to create a headquarters, which was supported by Volodymyr Oleksandrovych. There were many proposals and all of them were supported by the university. I am sincerely grateful to you for this!" – thanked Artem Loik the university for the opportunities provided to implement his ideas.

Since the first days of the full-scale invasion of russia on the territory of Ukraine, the Volunteer Headquarters of Polytechnic has been providing assistance to IDPs living in university dormitories and doing everything possible to provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with everything they need. Already at the beginning of the war, Poltava Polytechnic together with Poltava RMA organized the collection and delivery of humanitarian aid for the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, which suffered as a result of russian aggression. Recently, Poltava Polytechnic was visited by students of Chernihiv Polytechnic who joined the round table "Student youth – the driving force of our state", which took place in the format of a sincere conversation among friends.

The University Volunteer Headquarters made a great contribution on the cultural front: on the initiative of the university volunteers, a charity concert was held, during which it was possible to collect 101 thousand hryvnias – the largest amount collected within charity events in Poltava; for the first time in Poltava, the band ProBASS & Hardi performed at the university, which raised almost 50,000 hryvnias for the Volunteer Headquarters of the Polytechnic.

A wonderful charity event was also held on the basis of the Oil and Gas College of Poltava Polytechnic.

University students and teachers are actively involved in volunteer initiatives. The Department of Finance, Banking and Taxation of the Poltava Polytechnic initiated the campaign "A trench candle – a piece of light and warmth from our hearts for the defenders of Ukraine." The batch that was handed over to the Volunteer Headquarters is 600 hours of heat for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The founder of the Polytechnic Volunteer Headquarters Artem Loik rocked the audience with the song "UA", and the participant of the "X-Factor" and "Voice of the Country" shows Abiie presented the song "Ukraine".

Anastasiia Onyshchenko, Sofiia Onyshchenko and the "Accent" dance club joined the greetings of the scientific and pedagogical team, and performed the choreographic composition "Ukrainian Rage" for the audience.

Also on the main stage of the Poltava Polytechnic, old friends of the university – the Poltava band "Kraiany" (honored artist of Ukraine Serhii Starchenko, Anatolii Pyliai, Alina Filipiuk, Vitalii Pidopryhora) performed.

"The University Day in conditions of war is a time to answer questions about what we managed to do in order to support the army, people whose homes were taken away by the war, and bring Victory closer.

The founder of the Polytechnic Volunteer Headquarters Artem Loik spoke about the first steps of the Poltava Polytechnic Volunteer Headquarters – from the initiative together with the Student Self-Government, which I supported, and about other initiatives that also found full support at the university.

The Poltava Polytechnic Volunteer Headquarters does a lot to support the defenders, but on University Day, the activists of the Volunteer Headquarters organized a charity event to support scientific and pedagogical workers of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", so that our colleagues do not lose their enthusiasm and the opportunity to donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, collect humanitarian aid, weave nets, make trench candles, that is, do everything important for the victory.

A lot of good deeds have been done, are being done and will be done by the Volunteer Headquarters of Poltava Polytechnic together with the university administration!

Thank you to the volunteer activists of the Poltava Polytechnic for high patriotism and great work that brings the Great Victory of Ukraine closer!

Now we are writing history and one day our descendants will be proud of what we did today. The gift of artist friends and the performance of insanely talented youth inspired us to do even more for Victory!

Together to victory!

Glory to Ukraine!" – noted the rector of the university, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko.

Recently, Poltava Polytechnic volunteers presented their experience at the "We Win Together" forum, and the rector of the university awarded Poltava Polytechnic volunteers with certificates of honor.
