National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" is the first and only university in the Poltava region to hold a business case championship as part of the USAID "Economic Support of Ukraine" project, and can be proud of the high achievements of its students. In total, about 60 students of the Poltava Polytechnic and the Poltava College of Oil and Gas participated in the development of presentations and business cases. Three teams and one participant who coped with all the tasks with "excellent" marks reached the final.
Rector of National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko and Deputy Marketing Director of Premier Socks Olena Babenko congratulated the winners and prize-winners of the First Poltava Business Case Championship from TM Premier Socks and handed out nice gifts from partners.
The winners of the case championship are the team "ProKachka" (2nd-year students majoring in "Marketing" Polina Klimashenko, Nadiia Kubrak), the team of the Poltava College of Oil and Gas, consisting of Victoriia Nezhyd and Matvii Vats, who worked under the guidance of teacher Olha Sydorina, and the team of the Poltava Polytechnic "Pumped almightys" consisting of Viktor Khursa, Bohdana Kurylo and Alina Yakovlieva received certificates and branded products from the company. And the winner, Viktoriia Yarmukhametova, a first-year student majoring in "Marketing" at the Poltava Polytechnic, will have a unique opportunity to complete an internship in the marketing department of the partner company.

During the meeting with the winners of the case championship Deputy Marketing Director of the Premier Socks company Olena Babenko sincerely admired the achievements of the university's student youth and once again emphasized the openness of cooperation with professionally motivated individuals who are ready to learn not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical cases. For its part, the company is ready to share all the effective cases that will certainly help university students in their future profession.
It should be recalled that during the case championship, the mentors from the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" were: Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Computer and Information Technologies and Systems Kseniia Verhal, Head of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Marketing, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Maryna Chyzhevska, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Marketing Oleksandra Kuzmenko, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Marketing Olena Ivasenko, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Marketing Svitlana Shcherbinina. Deputy Marketing Director Olena Babenko became a mentor from TM Premier Socks.
It should be recalled that the master's students of the university became the prize-winners of the All-Ukrainian competition for student research papers in Accounting and Taxation.
Recently, the university students became the winners of the International Student Research Paper Competition in Ecology, a student of the university became the bronze prize winner of the scientific competition, having investigated the implementation of European practices in the management of solid waste management for enterprises of the Poltava region, and the young students of the Poltava Polytechnic were awarded for significant scientific and educational achievements as well as participation in the Science Festival.
