Short description of the program
The main purpose of the University's educational activity in the specialty "Computer Science" for the educational degree "Master" is the professional training of specialists who have in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the methodology of scientific activity based on the use of computer science methods that will facilitate the mobility of the graduate in the labour market, as well as allow them to effectively solve problems of the appropriate level of professional activity, which are focused on research, solving problems of design, deployment, integration, testing.
Specialists who have graduated from this specialty are engaged in modelling neurocomputer systems; designing and further operating control systems; building models of intelligent information systems for performing and analyzing experiments; developing corporate-level systems; managing IT projects.

- The emphasis of the educational programme is on in-depth knowledge in the field of IT project management, as well as the ability to apply it to the design of information systems;
- The programme focuses on scientific research with a large component of communication and interpersonal skills in native and foreign languages, as well as on modern scientific achievements in computer science and computer engineering;
- The programme provides professional training of computer systems analysts, taking into account the requirements for quality, reliability, performance characteristics, its regular updating allows to take into account the trends of progressive development of information technology;
- The possibility of continuing education at the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education and acquiring additional qualifications in the postgraduate education system;
- At least 35 per cent of the curriculum is aimed at gaining general and professional knowledge.
