Short description of the program

The programme provides training in the field of "Mechanical Engineering" in the speciality "Industrial Engineering" for a master's degree with programme competences characterised by the necessary level of theoretical knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to generate new ideas, solve problems (problems) in the field of mechanical engineering and research activities; mastery of the methodology for scientific and organisational activities, pedagogical, organisational and practical activities in the field of mechanical engineering; conduct their own original research, the results of which have signs of scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance sufficient for the defence of a master's thesis; capable of independent research, scientific and organisational, pedagogical, organisational and practical activities in the field of mechanical engineering.

Students are given the right to choose specialised subjects in the amount of at least 25% of the total number of ECTS credits.
Opportunity to study modern designs of construction machinery and equipment on the basis of enterprises of the machine-building and construction industry in the region.
Conducting laboratory and practical classes on modern equipment of partner companies in the engineering and construction industry.
The programme provides for the study of advanced software products designed to perform design, research and other types of work.
Students are required to complete two internships (industrial and master's) at partner companies to gain practical skills.
The possibility of official employment at partner companies, which is combined with training.
