Short Description of the Program

The program focuses on training professionals who should have deep knowledge of production, distribution and consumption of heating energy; increasing production energy efficiency; determination of technical and economic indicators; planning and conducting research to improve technological processes in the field of heat power engineering.

The main training outcomes are: awareness of the latest principles and methods of developing energy saving measures; skills how to apply modern energy efficient technologies; forecast, study and develop heat balances of enterprises, industrial zones, cities and towns; design heat generating and heat-utilizing installations; develop engineering and economic studies for projects of rational use and utilization of heating resources; increase environmental safety.

The high level of practical training of specialists is provided by the developed cooperation in scientific and educational fields, existence of specialized laboratories.

Master’s degree in heat power engineering focuseы on the development of professional and creative abilities of students to solve problems in the field of electrical engineering and entitles students to continue their training to obtain higher qualifications and degrees.
