Brief description of the program

This program is aimed at training specialists who must have in-depth knowledge of: production, distribution and consumption of thermal energy; improving energy efficiency of production; determining technical and economic indicators; planning and conducting research to improve technological processes in the field of heat and power engineering.

The main learning outcomes are: awareness of the latest principles and methods of developing energy-saving measures; applying modern energy-efficient technologies; forecasting, studying and developing heat balances of enterprises, industrial zones, cities and towns; designing heat-generating and heat-utilization units; developing feasibility studies for projects of rational use and utilization of thermal resources; improving environmental safety.

The high level of practical training of specialists is ensured by the developed cooperation in the scientific and educational spheres, as well as the availability of specialized laboratories. The Master's degree in Heat and Power Engineering is focused on the development of students' professional and creative abilities to solve problems in the field of electrical engineering and trains students at a level that will ensure their right to continue their studies to obtain higher qualification levels and academic degrees.
