The team of scientists of Erasmus+ project “European Experience of Information Security and Information Protection Systems in the Modern Conditions of Large-Scale Cyber Attacks” of Poltava Polytechnic was awarded with the award of the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA – Brussels).

At the beginning of the new academic year 2024/2025, the team of Erasmus+ project “European Experience of Information Security and Information Protection Systems in the Modern Conditions of Large-Scale Cyber Attacks” (ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH – 101127542), consisting of Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law, Doctor of Economics, Professor Svitlana Onyshchenko, Deputy Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Information Technologies and Robotics, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Kseniia Verhal, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Finance, Banking and Taxation Alina Hlushko, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Computer and Information Technologies and Systems Alina Yanko received an award of the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA – Brussels) from the head of the organisation, Walter Zampieri.

It should be recalled that the project aims to promote EU best practices in the field of information security and cyber security to improve the security of Ukraine’s information environment, spread European values and European integration processes among Ukrainian youth.

According to the scientists, the honourable international award is a recognition of the high standards of their research in the field of European integration and achievements in spreading European values and experience, and is also a testament to the gratitude of the European scientific community for the active approach to the implementation of the module.

It should be recalled that Poltava Polytechnic continues to cooperate with the EU Advisory Mission for Ukraine (EUAM).
