National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" took part for the second time in the all-Ukrainian campaign of the National Bank of Ukraine "Brave Hryvnia" aimed at supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During October 2023, there were boxes for collecting coins with denominations of 10, 50 kopecks and 1, 2, 5, 10 hryvnias in the lobby of the central building and deans’ offices of educational and research institutes as well as faculties, and teachers, students, employees and guests of Poltava Polytechnic were active participants and spread information about it on Facebook and Instagram.
The National Bank of Ukraine awarded the scientific-pedagogical and student staff of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" with the Diploma for active participation in the all-Ukrainian charity campaign "Brave Hryvnia", support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, high civic position, patriotism and significant contribution to the Victory.
"Our university family has shown great solidarity and dedication to an important cause by participating in the "Brave Hryvnia" campaign. This not only reflects our deep respect for military personnel but also indicates our understanding of the importance of uniting in supporting those who are giving the best years of their lives to protect our homeland. Students, teachers of the Poltava Polytechnic and all volunteers who took part in the campaign made a significant personal contribution to the Ukrainian Victory!" – commented the Head of the Educational Bank of the Department of Finance, Banking and Taxation Maryna Turchenko.
In total, during the national campaign, 4.3 million hryvnias in coins were collected for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Last year, the university received an award from the National Bank for active participation in the "Brave Hryvnia" campaign, as well as for active participation in the all-Ukrainian initiative "Marathon of Good Deeds".
Recently, the Poltava Polytechnic crossed the threshold of 1 million hryvnias collected for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the university team handed over drones, autonomous heaters and a thermometer to "ODIN", the scientists of the Polytechnic received awards from the Poltava Regional Military Administration and local self-government bodies, court guards recognized the Polytechnic team for their professional skills and effective cooperation, and the Polytechnic rector was awarded the Citation of the Ombudsman of Ukraine.
