Two students from Poltava Polytechnic are invited to participate in an open call for studies in the II (spring) semester of the 2025/2026 academic year under the Erasmus+ credit academic mobility program at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, Austria.

National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the international educational space! We are announcing an open call for talented students to participate in the Erasmus+ KA171 credit academic mobility program. If you dream of an unforgettable study experience in Europe, new acquaintances, and expanding your horizons, this program is your chance! The studies will take place at the prestigious Austrian University of Applied Sciences, Wiener Neustadt, during the second semester (spring) of the 2025/2026 academic year.

Number of places: 2

Who is this program for? We are looking for motivated students who meet the following criteria:

  • Adult students (at the start of mobility in September 2025).
  • Studying in the 2nd-5th years of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management, and Law.
  • Possess a valid international passport.
  • Demonstrate high academic performance, no academic debts, or cases of re-taking credits/exams.
  • Fluent in English or German at level B2/C1.

Financial support

  • Scholarship: €1100/month.
  • Estimated expenses (Austrian partners' calculations):
    • Accommodation: €450/month
    • Food: €300/month
    • Other: €250/month

Important Dates

  • Application deadline: October 10, 2025.
  • English language proficiency testing and interview: October 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM, Aud. 318 °C (in case of an air raid alarm – A-building shelter).

Steps to Participate in the Erasmus+ Academic Mobility Program Competition

Step 1. Contact your graduating department

  • The student contacts their graduating department with a request to consider participation in the program.
  • The department compares the curricula of the Ukrainian educational program the student is enrolled in with the program at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt.
  • If the disciplines align:
    • The department prepares two official memos (according to the list of mobility documents),
    • and informs the dean's office about the need to issue a transcript of records (academic performance record).
    • Students for whom the department has not prepared two official memos, and the dean's office has not issued an academic performance record, i.e., students who do not have supporting documents confirming the possibility of transferring learning outcomes, will not be admitted to the English language test.

Step 2. Prepare a personal document

The student prepares the following documents:

  • CV in English (in PDF format with photo, no more than two pages);
  • Motivation letter in English (up to 1 page, PDF);
  • Scan copy of international passport (1st spread, PDF);
  • Passport-sized photo (.jpg);
  • English language proficiency certificate (if available).

Motivation letters will be checked for plagiarism and for the use of AI. It is forbidden to submit the same letter for different mobility programs.

Documents not formatted according to the requirements will not be accepted.

Step 3. Submit documents

The package of documents is submitted simultaneously in electronic (interoffice@nupp.edu.ua) and printed (213-C) form through the graduating department to the International Relations Office.

Step 4. Candidate selection

  • Candidates undergo an English language test and interview.
  • The following are also taken into account during selection:
    • social circumstances (low income, children, disability, adoption status, chronic diseases, etc.),
    • participation in volunteer, educational, scientific initiatives, or projects.
