The teachers and the Young Scientists Board of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” celebrated the #ErasmusDAYS2020 discussing the successful cases of those who have already participated in the Erasmus+ mobility programs. Due to the lockdown, the event was held online.
Erasmus+ is a European Union program in 2014-2020 that supports projects, partnerships, events and mobility in the education field, professional training, youth and sport fields. During the roundtable debate “Experience of participation in Erasmus+ programs” the representatives of Polytechnic shared their own participation stories. The representatives of the Erasmus+ National Office in Ukraine, Svitlana Shytikova (Coordinator of the Erasmus+ National Office in Ukraine and the National Expert Team for Reforming Higher Education (EU Project)) and Veronika Tkachenko (Manager of Erasmus+ National Office in Ukraine) took part in the event.
“The participation in such joined events opens new perspectives of cooperation with international partners, providing new opportunities for students and teachers to take part in mobility projects, showing the advantages of the Euro-integration processes. Polytechnic students have a great opportunity to study at leading European universities, and scientists join international research projects. Join the Erasmus+ family and National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, which has created favorable conditions for harmonious intellectual and cultural development of students,” Svitlana Sivitska, PhD in Economics, Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Affairs of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” greeted the participants.
The following interesting educational cases were presented:
- “Experience of participation in Erasmus+ programs” by Iryna Chernysh, Doctor of Economics, Director of Education and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”;
- “Realizing the Jean Monnet Project ‘The challenges of energy efficiency: cooperation of Ukraine with the EU’” by Kseniia Chychulina, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Marketing Department, Head of Young Scientists’ Board of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Jean Monnet Project Manager;
- “Experience of participation in individual grant programs of Erasmus+” by Tetiana Lvovska, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor of the Department of Highways, Geodesy, Land Management and Rural Constructions of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”;
- “The participation of the students of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” in Erasmus+ mobility programs” by Yuliia Solovii, Coordinator of International Office of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”.
The speakers presented about the internships and studying abroad, the excellent conditions for demonstrating the achievements and results of cooperating with international partners, and shared some life hacks.
“Ukrainian Erasmus+ Marathon” is held on October 15-17 within the worldwide initiative #ErasmusDays2020.
