Future female teachers begin studying under the Erasmus+ program at Leibniz University Hannover

Students of specialty 014 “Secondary Education” of the Poltava Polytechnic Yelyzaveta Trebka and Shakhlo Kosimova began their studies at the Faculty of Education at the Leibniz University Hannover. During the semester, future female teachers will study English and German languages and their teaching methods at one of the best German universities, and will also participate in the UNESCO-supported project “Youth as Researches”.

Students of the specialty 014 “Secondary Education” of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Yelyzaveta Trebka and Shakhlo Kosimova began their studies at the Faculty of Education at the Leibniz University Hannover.

During the fall semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, future female teachers will study English and German languages as well as their teaching methods at a leading German university, and will also participate in the UNESCO-supported project “Youth as Researches” as representatives of the Ukrainian student body.

The Leibniz University Hannover is among the top 9 higher education institutions in Germany (TU9) and is also a member of the Board of Excellence, the commission for determining the quality standards of higher education in Germany.

It should be recalled Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of General Linguistics and Foreign Languages Halyna Talovyria won a grant from the DAAD to participate in the project on the management of internationalization and German-Ukrainian academic cooperation and during 2021-2023 participated in the project with the support of the DAAD “Management of Internationalization of Higher Education” within the framework of the development of Ukrainian-German academic cooperation.

The result of this project was the signing of an agreement on academic cooperation and student exchange between the Faculty of Education of the Gottfried Leibniz University and the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” and the subsequent Erasmus+ agreement, which allow students of the specialty 014 “Secondary Education” of the Poltava Polytechnic to study in one of the best German universities.

It should be noted that Poltava Polytechnic students have the opportunity to study abroad under grant programs of academic mobility for a semester or an entire academic year at leading universities in Austria, Greenland, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Sweden.

It should be recalled that the Polytechnic signed an agreement on scientific and educational cooperation with educators of the Poltava community.

Recently, female students of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law studied under the Erasmus+ credit academic mobility program in Finland, and female philology students talked about professional practice in the international department of the Romanian partner university.
