International relations students begin their studies under the Erasmus+ programme at the Austrian university Fachhochshule des BFI Wien

Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law of the Poltava Polytechnic Kseniia Kolomiiets and Veronika Melnyk went to study under the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme at the leading university of Vienna – Fachhochshule des BFI Wien. Future professionals will deepen their competencies in the field of international economic relations and business management.

Students of the educational programme “International Economic Relations” specialty 292 “International Economic Relations” of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” – master’s student Kseniia Kolomiiets and second-year student Veronika Melnyk went to study under the academic mobility programme Erasmus+ to the leading university of Vienna – Fachhochshule des BFI Wien.

As part of the academic mobility programme, Kseniia Kolomiiets chose the specialty “European economy and Business Management”, the master’s student of the Poltava Polytechnic has the opportunity to deepen her knowledge and gain additional competences in the field of international economic relations and business management for the purpose of her own improvement and development.

A second-year student Veronika Melnyk chose the direction of economics and international business, currently the student is studying a number of professional disciplines – Business English; Introduction to economics; Presentation in Business settings; Marketing; European Economic Development and EU Integration; International business policy; International corporate finance; The EU and The Eurasian Economic Union: Competition, Conflict, and International business.

“Erasmus+ academic mobility programmes are a unique opportunity to gain an effective study abroad experience and expand one’s cultural horizons while receiving a scholarship. Students participating in this programme have the opportunity to study at universities in different countries of the European Union, receive credits for successfully completed courses, learn new foreign languages and culture, which contributes to personal growth and the development of international skills.

In addition, the Erasmus+ programme promotes intercultural communication and gives young people the opportunity to build valuable connections in the student and university environment, which can be useful for their future careers. All this makes Erasmus+ an important tool for the education and development of students in Europe and beyond,” – shared her impressions Poltava Polytechnic master’s student Kseniia Kolomiiets.

It should be noted that Poltava Polytechnic students have the opportunity to study abroad under grant programmes of academic mobility for a semester or an entire academic year at leading universities in Austria, Greenland, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Sweden.
