The educational information resource “Osvita.ua” has compiled the consolidated ranking of Ukrainian higher education institutions in 2024, which includes 235 higher education institutions. The consolidated ranking uses data from the most reputable national rankings of Ukrainian educational institutions among experts and the media: “TOP-200 Ukraine”, “Scopus” and “NMT Score for Contract”, each of which uses different criteria for evaluating higher education institutions.
National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” received the final score of 160 and took the 41st place in the overall ranking (51st place in the “NMT Score for Contract”, 53rd place in the “TOP-200 Ukraine”, 56th place in the “Scopus”).
Polytechnic took the 1st place among the higher education institutions of Poltava and the Poltava region:
Poltava Polytechnic was ranked among the TOP-10 best universities in the central region of Ukraine:
The main criteria of the rating were the following indicators:
“TOP-200 Ukraine” – the basic principle of ranking universities in the ranking is to ensure full openness, transparency and independence of the universities ranking. The ranking is based on open data of direct measurements published on the open web resources of independent national and international organisations and institutions.
“Scopus” ranking – the results of the ranking of higher education institutions are based on the indicators of the Scopus database, which is a tool for tracking the citation of scientific articles published by an educational institution or its employees in scientific journals. In the ranking table, Ukrainian educational institutions are ranked by the Hirsch index, a quantitative indicator based on the number of scientific publications and the number of citations of these publications.
“NMT score for contract” – a ranking of higher education institutions based on the average score of the national multi-subject test of last year’s applicants who were enrolled in universities for study at the expense of individuals and legal entities (contract).
“This high result is a testimony to our joint hard work, the high professionalism of our teachers and researchers, the trust of the applicants, and the desire of our students for knowledge.
