National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” took the 56th place among 214 universities of Ukraine, confidently entered the TOP-60 Ukrainian universities according to the results of scientific activity and topped the ranking of Poltava universities – Osvita.UA published the ranking of universities according to the Scopus indicators in 2024:

The ranking was created based on the results of scientometric monitoring of Ukrainian research and publishing entities according to the SciVerse Scopus database in April 2024.
In the ranking table, Ukrainian universities are ranked according to the Hirsch index, a quantitative indicator based on the number of scientific publications and the number of citations.
The ranking includes only those higher education institutions that have separate Affiliation IDs in the official Scopus list and meet the search query “Ukraine” in the Affiliation Search field. The list does not include institutions with a Hirsch index value of less than 1.

The Scopus database constantly indexes more than 25 thousand periodicals and non-periodical scientific publications in technical, medical and humanitarian sciences. This database includes publications of scientific journals, conference proceedings, book publications, etc.
It should be recalled that in the consolidated ranking of Ukrainian higher education institutions in 2023, Poltava Polytechnic was ranked first among the universities of Poltava region and became the most popular university in Poltava among the applicants, as well as one of the TOP-10 most environmentally friendly Ukrainian universities according to GreenMetric-2023.
