Poltava Polytechnic Scientist Takes Part in Academic Mobility in Germany

During her academic mobility in Germany, Associate Professor of the Department of Germanic Philology and Translation of Poltava Polytechnic Tetiana Pieshkova delivered a speech at the Germany-Ukraine Forum in Kempten, where she once again emphasized the importance of developing the Ukrainian-German partnership, especially in the context of the full-scale war.

Poltava Polytechnic Scientist Takes Part in Academic Mobility in Germany

From May 15 to June 15, 2025, Tetiana Pieshkova, Associate Professor of the Department of Germanic Philology and Translation of Poltava Polytechnic, PhD in Philology, was on the academic mobility program in Germany. Her internship took place in the city of Kempten at the international organization Mdantzane, an organization dedicated to social assistance to Ukrainians.

During the period from 2022 to 2024, Tetiana Pieshkova coordinated social assistance from Germany, Allgäu region, for Ukrainian citizens. She was actively involved in providing translation support to Ukrainians in various social and official institutions, facilitating effective communication between Ukrainian citizens and German authorities, medical institutions and social services.

An important event of her academic mobility was the participation of Tetiana Vitaliivna in the international forum “Deutschland-Ukraine”, which took place on June 6, 2025 in Kempten. During the forum, the Associate Professor made a presentation in which she emphasized the importance of developing the Ukrainian-German partnership in times of war. She emphasized that close cooperation between the two countries today is crucial not only for humanitarian support and cultural exchange, but also for building a common European future. Her speech was a significant contribution to the dialogue between the academic and public circles of both countries, as sincere understanding and mutual support are a solid foundation for overcoming modern challenges.

In addition to her speech, Tetiana Pieshkova acted as an interpreter during the forum, which ensured effective communication between the participants and helped to establish new professional relationships.

The period of academic mobility has become a platform for Tetiana Vitaliivna to establish new contacts with colleagues from the German academic community. They discussed the prospects for joint scientific and social projects that could strengthen the partnership between Ukraine and Germany and open up new opportunities for Ukrainian scientists and students.

It should be recalled that Professor Yurii Vynnykov, together with four Master’s students of the Scientific and Research Institute of Oil and Gas of Poltava Polytechnic, took part in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program at AGH University of Krakow.
