The internship program was quite intense and designed for specialists of various specialties. According to the organizers, its purpose is to mark the European Year of Skills with various activities, as the Erasmus programme is an important tool for the personal and professional development of university communities – students, teaching and non-teaching staff.
On the first day, the project participants were welcomed by UAV rector Ramona Lile, who emphasized that cooperation between scientists from all over the world is a guarantee of peace and the possibility of effective collaboration of scientists, which should give impetus to the development of higher education in general. Then the participants listened to introductory lectures on the history of Romania and Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, learned about the structure, scientific-technical and laboratory base of the university.
Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad continues the traditions of higher education started by the Institute of Theology (1822), the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics (1947) and the Institute of Engineering (1972). It has been operating as a university since 1990. Currently, the university has 3 institutes, 9 faculties (32 bachelor's programs, 31 master's programs, and 3 PhD programs), 9 scientific departments, 14 scientific centers, a business incubator, etc.," – said the head of the partner Romanian university.
During the internship under the Erasmus+ programme as part of the "Erasmus International Week" at Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad (Romania), all representatives of participating universities presented their own universities using various interactive methods. Poltava Polytechnic was represented by Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of General Linguistics and Foreign Languages Halyna Talovyria. The listeners were interested in the scientific potential of our university, especially its functioning in the conditions of a full-scale invasion. In general, there was a great deal of interest in the Ukrainian delegation, representatives of all countries expressed their support and wished Ukraine a speedy victory.
The internship participants got acquainted with a number of modern scientific laboratories operating at the Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad (Laboratory of Natural Sciences, Laboratory of Microscopic Research, Laboratory of Plant Biology, Chromatography Laboratory, etc.).

Visits to the university library, familiarization with information technologies used in work, in particular ABIS, aroused interest.
The representative of the Educational and Research Institute of Information Technologies and Robotics, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Kseniia Verhal also had many opportunities to study foreign educational and scientific experience.
