Polytechnic scientists’ educational project becomes the headliner of the All-Ukrainian competition of projects in the adult education field

At the VI annual All-Ukrainian competition of projects in the adult education field, the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” presented a new educational project for professional development – “Estimating business in construction. Practical work in the program complex AVK-5”, the coordinators of which are the Head of the Department of Economics, Business and Marketing, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Maryna Chyzhevska and Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Business and Marketing Kseniia Chychulina.

The contest was organized by the Public Union “Ukrainian Association of Adult Education” with the support of DVV International Ukraine.

Educational projects or separate periods (stages) of projects that were fully implemented by providers from November 1, 2021 to October 31, 2022 were accepted for participation in the competition.

The competition participants became providers of adult education, in particular, all interested state and non-state institutions working in the field of adult education or citizens (initiative group of citizens).

The competition committee evaluated the projects according to the following criteria:

  • relevance in this year and in the current conditions;
  • relevance for this target audience and in the relevant region;
  • innovativeness, implementation of tools/technologies/learning methodology that was not implemented before or were implemented to an extremely limited extent;
  • social significance and ability to solve social problems;
  • clearly defined and understandable goals and objectives;
  • measures (activities, stages) of the project correspond in their content to the set goal;
  • interaction between governmental and non-governmental (including business) institutions;
  • potential for continuation and scaling;
  • originality/uniqueness and unlike others;
  • massiveness in terms of the number of involved participants, organizers and volunteers.

“The competition is held with the aim of promoting the development and popularization of adult education in Ukraine, stimulating the professional interaction of adult education providers, promoting the unification of efforts, the exchange of experience as well as the dissemination of best practices and initiatives aimed at the formation of a lifelong learning society.

Our project received high praise and interest. The restoration of Ukraine already needs specialists who will be able to prepare estimates for the objects restoration, estimate sections of applications for participation in projects and grants, as well as investment programs.

Even now, numerous requests for professional estimator courses indicate that there is an urgent need for calculation and preparation of estimates. And we are ready to help master new skills that the economy of Ukraine needs,” – commented the project coordinator, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Kseniia Chychulina.

A new group is envisaged to be recruited in 2023. You can follow the news on the page of the project «Courses of Estimators of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”».
