Polytechnic student is to receive a scholarship named after the Hero of the Heavenly Hundred

A student of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Serhii Shchepin became a holder of the academic scholarship named after the Hero of the Heavenly Hundred Vasyl Moisei – the Order on the appointment of academic scholarships named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred in the 2022/2023 academic year was published on the official website of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

In accordance with the decision of the Competition Commission for the appointment of the academic scholarship named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, the list of competition winners was approved. The corresponding list of students of higher education institutions belonging to the sphere of administration of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, who are awarded academic scholarships named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred in the 2022/2023 academic year, was approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Among this year’s scholarship recipients is Serhii Shchepin, a student majoring in “Physical therapy, ergotherapy” at the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, who will receive an academic scholarship named after Vasyl Moisei, the Hero of the Heavenly Hundred.

“Every year, students who affirm the ideals and values of the Revolution of Dignity through their active civic stance receive academic scholarships, which were established in honor of the 10 youngest Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. This is not only support for the patriotism and devotion of Ukrainian youth, but also the memory of those who gave their lives for the future of Ukraine,” – said Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhii Shkarlet.

As a reminder, academic scholarships named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred will be awarded to 36 students of state institutions of higher education in 10 specialties: “Physical therapy, ergotherapy”, “Railway transport”, “Agroengineering”, “Economics”, “Military management (by types of armed forces)”, “Geography”, “Architecture and Urban Planning”, “Software Engineering”, “Performing Arts”, and “Psychology”.

Last year, two female students of the Poltava Polytechnic were awarded scholarships named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.

Earlier, three university students and a college student received personal scholarships from the Poltava City Council, and a graduate of secondary school №37, who passed the NMT with 200 points, was presented with an award for an excellent result.
