Poznan University of Technology invites 4 teachers to participate in the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme in the 2024 spring semester

Poltava Polytechnic’s partner, Poznan University of Technology (Politechnika Poznańska), invites 4 teachers from the Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Management together with the Educational and Research Institute of Information Technology and Robotics to participate in the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme KA171.

Type of mobility: Teaching mobility (within the framework of the mobility programme, you need to give 8 hours of lectures in English).

Faculties of the Poznan University of Technology, where the teachers participating in the mobility can give lectures:

  • Faculty of Architecture
  • Faculty of Control, Robotics and Electrical Engineering
  • Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications
  • Faculty of Civil and Transport Engineering
  • Faculty of Materials Engineering and Technical Physics
  • Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
  • Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy
  • Faculty of Engineering Management: winter semester / summer semester
  • Faculty of Chemical Technology

The application deadline is 08 March 2024, 14:00.

Number of places: 4

Mobility period: 5 days (March-April-May-June 2024) + travel.

Language: English (B2/C1 level).

Within the framework of the mobility programme, participants will be reimbursed for travel expenses and provided with a grant for accommodation and meals.

In case the number of candidates exceeds the number of places in the programme, the decision is made by a specially created commission based on the candidates’ ratings according to the latest university rankings and taking into account the educational priorities of the educational programmes.

Recently, Polytechnic students completed their studies under the academic mobility programme at Vilnius University of Applied Sciences, Polytechnic teachers and students attended lectures on building acoustics from a representative of the British acoustic design and consulting agency, a Polytechnic scientist visited Washington, DC, as part of the Open World programme and got acquainted with American higher education by visiting a local community, and visited one of the leading universities in Florida, went to Embry-Riddle University – a private aviation university, also known as the “The Harvard of the Skies” and paid a visit to Everglades University, a philology student improved her digital skills by participating in the Erasmus+ academic exchange programme in Italy, students of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law shared their positive impressions of studying at an Austrian partner university, Nadiia Kubrak and Anastasiia Arkhipova shared their first impressions of studying in Austria and visited the UN Headquarters in Vienna, IT students with future psychology and philology majors, as well as students of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law, spoke about their studies under the Erasmus+ credit academic mobility programme at the University “1 DECEMBRIE 1918” University of Alba Iulia, a representative of Poltava Polytechnic studied the strategies of social inclusion during the youth exchange in Armenia, a student of Poltava Polytechnic took part in the international programme Study Tours to Poland, students of the university took language intensives at the Summer School of Polish Language and Culture from NAWA, scientists of Polytechnic celebrated ErasmusDays2023, and students of Polytechnic held a workshop on “green” lifestyle.

It should be noted that students of Poltava Polytechnic have the opportunity to study abroad under the grant programmes of credit academic mobility for a semester or a whole academic year at the leading universities of Austria, Greenland, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Finland, and the Czech Republic.
