Vladyslav Kremliakov, a student of 601-FS group of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, became a multiple medalist of the 25th Summer Deaflympic Games in Tokyo. As part of the National Team of Ukraine, Vladyslav demonstrated an exceptionally high level of athletic training and skill, winning five medals at the 25th Summer Deaflympic Games in Tokyo, including one gold and four silver medals.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, congratulated and awarded State Decorations to Ukrainian Deaflympians who won a total of 100 medals at the Summer Games in Tokyo; in particular, Vladyslav Kremliakov was awarded the Order of Merit, 3rd Class.


The 25th Summer Deaflympic Games were held on November 15-26, 2025, in Tokyo (Japan). This is an international multisport event for athletes with hearing impairments, traditionally held every four years. The Games brought together representatives from 80 countries and regions, with competitions covering 21 sports, including swimming.
Vladyslav Kremliakov’s achievements at the Deaflympic Games:
- Gold medal — 200 m backstroke.
- Silver medal — 50 m backstroke.
- Silver medal — 100 m backstroke.
- Silver medal — 4×100 m medley relay.
- Silver medal — 4×100 m mixed medley relay.
Vladyslav’s performance made a significant contribution to the overall result of the National Team of Ukraine, confirming the high level of Ukrainian sport.

At the 25th Summer Deaflympic Games, the National Team of Ukraine, which included 174 athletes, won 32 gold, 39 silver, and 29 bronze medals. Based on the results, the Ukrainian team took first place in the overall team standings among 81 countries worldwide, both by the number of gold medals and by the total medal count.
