Who Is Eligible to Apply?
The call is open to 10 full-time 3rd- and 4th-year undergraduate students (as of September 2026) from the following institutes:
• 6 places – Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Management: Architectural Technology and Construction Management Exchange Programme.
• 2 places – Educational and Research Institute of Information Technologies and Robotics: Computer Science Exchange Programme.
• 2 places – Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law: Event and Experience Management Exchange Programme.
A total of 10 scholarship grants has been allocated under this mobility programme, fully covering travel, accommodation, and living expenses in Denmark. Candidates are kindly asked to note that the final allocation of these 10 scholarship places among the three institutes and their respective fields of study is carried out directly by the host institution – ZEALAND Academy of Technologies and Business.
Key Dates
• Application Deadline: October 7, 2026, 16:00.
• English Language Proficiency Examination: October 9, 2026, 10:00, Room U-03A (Building A Shelter). Please note: the examination and interview proceedings will be monitored and recorded via an audio-visual surveillance system.
Main Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated high academic performance.
- English language proficiency at the B2/C1 level.
- High level of motivation; active involvement in the university’s social, volunteer, or academic research initiatives will be considered an advantage.
Selection Stages
- Document Submission: applicants submit a complete dossier in both digital and physical forms via their graduating department to the International Relations Office (interoffice@nupp.edu.ua, Room 213-C).
- Language Proficiency Assessment: all candidates complete a written examination and an oral interview in English to verify their level of language competency.
- Final Interview: shortlisted candidates nominated by Poltava Polytechnic participate in a conclusive online interview with representatives of ZEALAND Academy, who make the final admission decision.

• Two memorandums from the student’s graduating department (standard templates provided by the department).
• Academic transcript of records issued by the institute directorate.
• Scanned copy of the international passport data page (PDF).
• Curriculum Vitae in English (Europass template, PDF format, with photo, maximum 2 pages).
• Motivation letter in English (up to 1 page, PDF format).
• Passport-format photograph (.jpg).
• Foreign language proficiency certificate (if available).
Important Notice! Motivation letters will be screened for plagiarism and the unauthorised use of generative AI tools. Submitting duplicate motivation letters across different mobility calls is strictly prohibited.
Incomplete dossiers or documents that fail to comply with the formatting criteria will not be accepted.
Application Procedure for Participation in the Erasmus+ Academic Mobility Programme
• The student applies to their graduating department to formally request participation in the exchange programme.
• The department carries out a curriculum mapping process, aligning the courses of the student's Ukrainian curriculum with the syllabus of the corresponding programme at ZEALAND Academy of Technologies and Business.
o If the courses are successfully harmonised, the department prepares two official memorandums (in accordance with the mobility documentation guidelines). It requests the institute's directorate to issue an official transcript of records.
Students whose graduating departments have not issued both internal memorandums – serving as official verification of the transferability of learning outcomes (ECTS credits) – will not be admitted to the English language proficiency examination.
Important Information!
• Participants are responsible for obtaining their Danish entry visas independently between October and December 2026. Under martial law conditions, visa applications are processed in Lviv or Kyiv (standard processing timeframe: 3 to 6 months). Neither institution reimburses direct visa expenses (approximately €600) separately; however, the Erasmus+ grant awarded by ZEALAND Academy to Ukrainian participants is comprehensive and covers living expenses, meals, visa application fees, and other incidental costs.
• Health Insurance: upon arrival in Denmark, students will receive full, complimentary national public health insurance coverage.
• Orientation Week: an introductory orientation week will facilitate seamless acclimatisation to the university, the local city environment, and the academic framework.

This international cooperation opens up new opportunities for young people every semester. In particular, in the autumn of 2023, Iryna Hasan, Mariia Dykan, and Viktoriia Viazovska gained their first experience studying in Denmark (their impressions are detailed here and here). In autumn 2024, four students from the Education and Research Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Land Management took over the relay (read about their achievements here and here). During the 2025/2026 academic year, students Yeva Domkina, Mariia Parasotska, Ruslana Kravchenko, and Polina Khlystun completed their studies at the academy (whose stories can inspire you here and here). In the spring semester of that same academic year, Denmark became our students' next destination. In the spring term of the 2025|2026 academic year, Maksym Perepelytsia and Sofiia Kostiuchenko (International Economic Relations), Yelyzaveta Vasylieva (“Architecture and Urban Planning”), and Computer Science majors Anastasiia Zolotayko and Anastasiia Kosach represented the university.
As a reminder, lecturers of Poltava Polytechnic are eligible to participate in academic mobility and internship programmes. Students can study abroad through Erasmus+ credit academic mobility grant programmes for a semester or a full academic year at leading universities in Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greenland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, and the Czech Republic.
