Scientists of the Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Construction and Land Management and the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas presented scientific schools of Poltava Polytechnic and revealed a wide range of scientific problems in the field of operation and reconstruction of buildings and structures.
The IV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Operation and Reconstruction of Buildings and Structures" was supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the State Enterprise "State Research Institute of Building Structures", the Academy of Civil Engineering of Ukraine, University North (Croatia) and Odesa City Council in order to assist scientists and specialists in the exchange of scientific and technical information on the operation and reconstruction of buildings and structures. The conference also included exhibitions and presentations of achievements of educational, research and design, production and commercial organizations.
The organizing committee of the conference included the Head of the Department of Building Structures, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor AndriI Pavlikov and the Head of the Department of Construction and Civil Engineering, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Oleksandr Semko.
Scientists of the Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Construction and Land Management and the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas powerfully represented the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" and took part in the scientific event in a mixed format – online and offline.
At the plenary session, scientists presented two reports: online – "Removal of load-bearing structures of buildings and structures from emergency state" (Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor Oksana Dovzhenko, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of Building Structures Volodymyr Pohribnyi, master Shytova O.M.) and in offline format – "Experimental studies of the use of load-bearing capacity of steel profiled sheets of reinforced concrete floors" (Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Oleksandr Semko, Associate Professor, PhD student of the Department of Construction and Civil Engineering Anton Hasenko).
In the section "Problems of operation of building structures of facilities and edifices" scientists presented 5 reports:

"Principles of calculation of flat floors of frame structural systems of buildings" (Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Andrii Pavlikov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Olha Harkava and PhD student Mukhammad Hazali Sani)
In the section "Resource of buildings and structures" the Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Pavlo Mytrofanov presented the report "Operation the cracks spreading length in the RC bending elements".
In the section "Problems of operation of bases and foundations", Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Mykola Zotsenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Yurii Vynnykov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Maksym Kharchenko and Candidate of Technical Sciences Serhii Manzhalii presented the report "Modern geotechnical aspects of buildings and structures reconstruction ".
The presentation of the main provisions of the reports delivered at the plenary and sectional meetings of the IV International Conference "Operation and Reconstruction of Buildings and Structures" was included in the collection of abstracts, which is designed for students, educators, scientists and anyone interested in current reconstruction issues.
