Within the celebration of the 90th anniversary of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, the academic staff of Physical Education and Sports Department held the 1st All-Ukrainian Conference with International Participation “Current Problems of Physical Training, Sports and Physical Education”. Informative reports were presented by specialists from Belarus, Lithuania, Poland, Azerbaijan, and France.
More than 170 participants joined the scientific event, including representatives of various Ukrainian higher education institutions and scientific establishments.
The plenary meeting of the conference was opened by Rector of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Honored Education Worker of Ukraine, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko.
“It is very pleasant to see that the youngest subdivision of our university, and its Physical Education and Sports Department in particular, holds a scientific conference on the very relevant problems in terms of the pandemic. “It's important to mention that we continue the month of celebrating the 90th anniversary of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, so I would like to thank the co-organizers of the conference, the strategic partners and old friends of Poltava Polytechnic, and all the Ukrainian and international institutions for supporting and contributing to the scientific and educational cooperation in such complicated circumstances of the pandemic,” Rector said.
PhD in Pedagogy, Professor, Honored Worker of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine, Dean of Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University Yaroslav Yatsiv greeted the participants of the conference on behalf of the university body, “We are happy to join the large-scale scientific event dedicated to the jubilee of your glorious university and use the wonderful opportunity to exchange practical experience, our own scientific achievements in the field of health-saving technologies. I hope that this conference will become a traditional space for solving the problems that the industry is now facing, and will allow us gather in a close scientific circle in the heart of Poltava next year. I am thankful personally to Rector of Poltava Polytechnic Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko, the organizers, Dean of Faculty of Sports Nataliia Beseda and Head of Physical Education and Sports Department Lina Rybalko. I hope that our fruitful cooperation will grow into a powerful contribution to the development of physical education and sports of Ukraine!”
The list of speakers included Olena Andreieva (Doctor of Physical Education and Sports, Professor, Head of Health, Fitness and Recreation Department of National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine (Kyiv)), Petro Rybalko (Doctor of Pedagogy, Associate Professor of Department of Physical Education Theory and Methodology of A. S. Makarenko Sumy State Pedagogical University) Макаренка (м. And Yevhenii Osipenko (PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor, Head of Department of Physical Education Theory and Methodology of F. Skoryna Gomel State University (Belarus)). They wished that organizers and participants of the conference reach new scientific achievements and realize their professional ideas and projects.
The priority directions of the conference included the discussion of the current issues of physical education ans sports, the leading pedagogical experience in professional training of future physical education specialists, the analysis of modern condition and the historical development of physical education and sport, pedagogical, psychological and medical-biological aspects of physical education and sports, the formation and improvements of the sport skills, health problems and healthy lifestyle in education, physical training and sports.
The plenary meeting was moderated by Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor, Head of Physical Education and Sports Department of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Lina Rybalko. Leading Ukrainian and European scientists and teachers shared their achievements in the field of physical education and sports.
After the plenary meeting, the conference was divided into five sectional sittings:
- Section 1. The modern and historical development of physical education and sports;
- Section 2. The leading pedagogical experience of professional training of physical education and sports specialists;
- Section 3. The psychological and medical-biological aspects of physical education and sports;
- Section 4. The formation and the improvement of sport skills;
- Section 5. The health and healthy lifestyle issues in education, physical training and sports.
The results of the 1st All-Ukrainian Conference with International Participation “Current Problems of Physical Training, Sports and Physical Education” will be published in an electronic and printed collection of articles. The theses of reports presented at the conference will be included in “The Humanitarian Herald of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”.
Another relevant scientific event of this season was the VI All-Ukrainian Internet Conference “Physical Rehabilitation and Health Saving Technology: Realia and Prospects”.
