Your fresh perspective is important for us, you may be able to see what we do not notice on a daily basis and initiate changes that we will gladly implement, and then, when you return to the Polytechnic, you will be able to tell us about the first serious successes. We are inspired by young people and prepare for new significant achievements,” – commented Olena Klochenko.

The scholarship holders shared their stories, describing their worries, excitement and the tremendous support of their families, friends and university professors.

“Personally, I was a little scared to apply for the scholarship programme, because I always have some doubts – there are always better candidates, or whether I have enough knowledge. But I decided to try and I have no regrets – success came to me, I was selected as a candidate and I am very happy about it, since it means, first of all, incredible prospects for future employment. This is a useful internship experience, additional materials for term papers and diploma papers, and overall a very interesting experience for students. I can confidently say that if there are similar programmes in the future, I will definitely try again. Thinking about why I was chosen, I would say that it is actually a very interesting story. There were candidates from different specialties, and when another candidate from my speciality was named, I was a little upset, but I thought that they were much better ones and that was a normal thing.

And then the audience award was given to me, saying that they really liked my work and thus the company decided to recognise my aspirations. To be honest, in the future I would like to try my hand at the oil and gas industry as it is promising and there will always be work. I hope that everything will work out,” – shared her impressions the scholarship holder, fourth-year student of the “Oil and Gas Geology” study programme Mariia Zaitseva.

The students also learned about the wide opportunities for personal and professional growth and the conditions for successful employment for graduates of different specialities.
