According to the results of the First League of the Women’s Football Championship of Ukraine for the 2022-2023 season, a student of group 101-FR, majoring in “Physical therapy, ergotherapy” of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Anhelina Fedorenko became the top scorer of the Championship. At the competition, the Poltava Polytechnic athlete performed as part of the “Leader” team (Kobeliaky).
It should be recalled that the Women’s Football Championship of Ukraine is an annual competition among Ukrainian women's football clubs, held since 1992 by the All-Ukrainian Association of Women’s Football – a public organization that organizes and conducts all women’s football competitions in Ukraine.
In general, the competition of women’s teams takes place within the framework of two divisions:
- Major league;
- First league.
We are proud of the student’s high sports achievements and wish her success in conquering new peaks of sports Olympus!
Previously, Poltava Polytechnic students became silver and bronze medallists of the XXXII European Arm-wrestling Championship, the Poltava Polytechnic team became the gold medallist of the All-Ukrainian competition among scientific and pedagogical employees of higher education institutions in the billiard sport “Dynamic pyramid – Solo” – the Siniakevich Cup, and a student of FPCS Maksym Sen became the bronze medallist WAKO Kickboxing Championship of Ukraine.
