Poltava Trade and Industry Chamber of Ukraine holds a range of image-related events to create new work places for young specialists and to improve the economic conditions of Poltava region. The Committee of Tourism, Culture and Innovation was created as part of Poltava Trade and Industry Chamber of Ukraine. The first meeting of the committee was concentrated on the topic “The Tourism Industry as One of the Area of Priority for Developing Small and Medium Business in Poltava Region”.
The meeting was opened by the President of Poltava Trade and Industry Chamber (TIC) Volodymyr Oliinyk, the Head of Kremechuk Department of Poltava TIC Larysa Mykhailyk, and the Head of the Department of Innovations and Development of Poltava TIC Valentyna Vozhdaienko.
The Committee discussed the cooperation of Poltava TIC with the business structures, service provision and search for the innovative forms of work. The goals and tasks of the operation of the Committee, chose the the head of the bodies of the Committee, approved the candidates for the Head and the members of the Committee Presidium.
The Education and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” is a successful establishment for the development of tourism business in Poltava region, training specialists for the industry and having a lot of business partners. The Director of ERIFEM, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor Iryna Chernysh was chosen the Deputy Head of the Committee of Tourism, Culture and Innovations of Poltava Trade and Industry Chamber.
“The Committee of Tourism, Culture and Innovations of Poltava Trade and Industry Chamber is an active consulting body consisting a number of business owners, business representatives, whose area of activity is tourism and culture, as well as of the representatives of business associations. It is pleasant that Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic was invited to take part in the development of tourism in our region, and the committee acts like an intermediary in the dialogue between business and government, covering a wide range of problems to determine the perspectives and areas of development of tourism and recreation, culture and art, formation of positive image of Poltava region,” commented Iryna Chernysh.
The participants of the meeting continued discussing the areas of development in the industry during the discussion “The Relevant Principles and Tasks For Forming Touristic Services in Poltava Region”.
Poltava TIC is a part of the Trade and Industry Chambers of Ukraine, The main task of the Chamber is to represent the interests of its members in the government bodies of Ukraine and in international organizations, and contribute to the development of external economic connections of Ukrainian business.
