More than 120 participants discussed the topics of communication between Ukrainian higher education institutions and their foreign partners, the conclusion of agreements on academic mobility projects and the process of recognizing mobility results, the search for new partners, the simplified procedure of competitions for participation in mobility projects, and sending students to study abroad through the signing of agreements for practice/training according to the most simplified procedure, signing agreements for teaching or internships for scientific and pedagogical staff of Ukrainian universities, return to Ukrainian higher education institutes and mandatory recognition of mobility results.

The organizers of the webinar were Svitlana Shytikova (project coordinator) and Kateryna Zhdanova (expert in communications and mobility programs as well as registration of the profile of organizations), during the event they: shared useful links and resources; gave advice on which academic mobility programs one can send students as well as scientific and pedagogical workers abroad as quickly and easily as possible; gave practical advice on documents, visas, tickets, scholarships, payment of taxes on scholarships received in foreign higher education institutions, procedures for continuing academic mobility programs in the case of continuation of a full-scale war in Ukraine at the time of completion of programs, etc.

Participants also talked about mutual assistance of Ukrainian higher education institutions. Yes, there were cases when higher education institutions located in more quiet places gave their grants, scholarships and "places" in academic mobility programs to save colleagues and students from Mariupol, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and other cities which are currently in a more difficult situation.

Representatives of leading Ukrainian higher education institutions shared their practical experience in sending students and teachers on mobility programs in wartime, told what problems they faced and how they were solved. For example, the National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" has sent more than 150 students to Europe for academic mobility programs since the beginning of the war.

According to Anna Pavelieva, scientists of Poltava Polytechnic will definitely need such experience in the implementation of the following projects of academic mobility in the conditions of war, and the scientist is planning to share the acquired knowledge and practical skills with colleagues and students.

"Working with young people, I am firmly convinced that quality European education provided by our university will be the first professional start for students, and ample opportunities for establishing international communication will pave a reliable path in the chosen field. As a scientist and teacher, I clearly understand the high mission set by the state to create favorable conditions for training and comprehensive harmonious development of a young person who will work conscientiously for their own good and the needs of Ukrainian society. Therefore, our entire scientific and educational community is actively involved in such events and is intensively studying together with the younger generation," – commented Anna Pavelieva.

Previously, the Polytechnic scientists were trained in effective eco-management, participated in an international conference on intercultural mediation, received a free copy of the board game "TranslationInAction", conducted a training on teamwork and conflict resolution, and the Dean won a grant for a virtual exchange project with the United States.
