For the Spring Semester of 2025/2026, this grant-funded program offers a remarkable path to gain European educational experience. Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad Invites Two Students for Erasmus+ ICM Program in Spring Semester 2025/2026

Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad (Romania) is offering a grant-funded Erasmus+ KA171 mobility opportunity for two Poltava Polytechnic students. This is a remarkable chance to gain European educational experience while studying at a modern Romanian university.

We welcome applications from talented Bachelor’s and Master’s students from the following departments:

  • Education and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management, and Law (Field: Business and Administration);
  • Education and Research Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Land Management (Field: Engineering);
  • Education and Research Institute of Information Technology and Robotics (Field: ICTs);
  • Faculty of Philology, Psychology, and Education (Field: Education).                                 

Key Information

Available spots: 2

Duration: 4 months

Study period: February 23, 2026 – June 22, 2026

Language of instruction: English (minimum level B2+)

Scholarship: €800 per month (total €3,200 for the period) + €417 for travel expenses (Green Travel – for those using eco-friendly transport).

Accommodation: students are provided with a place in a student dormitory. The cost is approximately 750 Romanian Leu (RON) per person per month.

Visa Requirements: Ukrainian citizens are entitled to visa-free entry to Romania. However, because the study period exceeds 90 days, students must apply for the required residency documents upon arrival.

Application Procedure for the Erasmus+ Program

Step 1: Consultation with the Graduating Department

  • The student contacts their graduating (major) department to discuss participation.
  • The department compares the curriculum of the Ukrainian program with the courses offered at Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad.
  • If the curricula align, the department prepares two official internal memos (as per the mobility document list) and notifies the Dean’s Office to issue a Transcript of Records.

Note: Students whose departments have not prepared the required official internal memos or whose Dean’s Office has not provided a Transcript of Records (confirming the possibility of credit transfer) will not be admitted to the English language test.

 

Step 2: Preparation of Personal Documents

The student must prepare the following:

  • CV in English (PDF format with a photo, max. two pages);
  • Motivation Letter in English (PDF format, max. 1 page);
  • Scan of International Passport (first page, PDF);
  • Passport-style photo (.jpg);
  • English Language Certificate (if available).

Motivation letters will be checked for plagiarism and AI use. It is not permitted to submit the same letter to multiple mobility programs. Documents that do not meet these requirements will not be accepted.

 

Step 3: Document Submission

The application package must be submitted simultaneously in electronic and printed form through the graduating department to the International Relations Office (Room 213-C).

Students can study abroad through Erasmus+ credit-based academic mobility grants for a semester or a full academic year at leading universities in Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greenland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, and the Czech Republic.
