The University of Cambridge supports displaced students and scientists from Ukraine. The Aid Fund for Affected Students, who are currently studying at Cambridge, is already providing assistance. And within the framework of the support package, plans are being developed to increase educational opportunities for evacuated Ukrainian students.

The vice-rector of the institution Stephen Toope noted that the initiative was developed in partnership with Ukrainian universities and the Government of Ukraine.

“Since the beginning of the invasion, the university has been working with education leaders in Ukraine to support academicians and students whose lives have been torn apart by humanitarian tragedy. From online resources that became immediately available to displaced Ukrainian students to a comprehensive support package. Our community is ready to do everything possible to support Ukraine in the conditions of war,” – noted Professor Toope.

It should be recalled that a new version of the ESCO classifier with a Ukrainian translation is now available.

Recently, the Polytechnic scientist underwent training under the “Active Citizens” program from the British Council in Ukraine.
