In order to support students and doctoral students who are evacuating to Poland from Ukraine, NAWA is launching information channels in Ukrainian within the special profile of NAWA Ukraine.
To support refugees, NAWA is launching a program called Solidarni z Ukrainą, in which students and postgraduates will have the opportunity to study in Poland, conduct doctoral dissertation preparation work or participate in other forms of education (language or preparation courses) in the period from March to September 2022. In addition to the tuition waiver, participants will be paid a scholarship. The program is scheduled to begin on March 15, 2022.
The National Science Center (NCN) is also working on the launch of a special program to support Ukrainian scientists aimed at continuing research in Poland. The program is designed for Ukrainian scientists who have been forced to move to Poland as a result of Russian aggression. NCN will fund a year-long stay in Polish scientific and research centers.
The National Agency for Academic Exchanges (NAWA), together with the National Science Center (NCN), the Ministry of Education and Science as well as the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Poland, are working hard to provide the most comfortable conditions for students, postgraduates and scientists.
