Poltava Polytechnic invites academic and scientific staff to apply for participation in the XII International Week (iWeek 2026) at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (Romania) from May 11 to May 15, 2026! This is your chance to share knowledge with colleagues in the fields of AI, inclusion, and digitalisation, while receiving grant support!

Poltava Polytechnic continues to expand its horizons of international cooperation! Our long-standing partner, Universitatea “Lucian Blaga” din Sibiu (Romania), invites academic and scientific staff to take part in the XII International Week (iWeek 2026) within the Erasmus+ program. This is a unique opportunity for specialists in pedagogy, languages, arts, psychology, and sports not only to visit Romania but also to engage in discussions about the future of higher education actively!

The program, running from May 11 to May 15, 2026, will focus on the most pressing contemporary topics: from Artificial Intelligence and Open Science to inclusion and the social impact of universities. Participation involves a teaching mobility type – you will have the opportunity to deliver 8 hours of lectures, sharing your expertise with European colleagues. Don’t miss the chance to enhance your professional portfolio and receive financial support from Erasmus+!

Main Topics (Topics for iWeek 2026)

1. Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies in Higher Education.

Who can participate?

This unique teaching mobility opportunity is available to one academic or scientific staff member of Poltava Polytechnic who teaches in the following specialised areas: Education, Languages, Fine Arts, Psychology, or Sports.

Important Dates

Application Deadline: March 27, 2026.

English Language Testing (for academic staff who are not certified English language specialists): March 30, 2026, 10:00 AM (Room 323-C).

Required Documents

  • Motivation Letter in .docx format (in English);
  • CV in .docx format (in English);
  • Scan copy of the international passport (first spread, PDF);
  • Passport photo in .jpg format;
  • Official note from the Head of the Department.

The set of documents must be submitted simultaneously, in both electronic and printed form, to the International Relations Department (Room 213-C).

Also, in December 2025, Svitlana Halaura, Associate Professor of the Department of General Linguistics and Foreign Languages, participated in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program for teaching staff at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (Romania). Iryna Pastushenko, a student of group 201-FF from the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy, studied at this HEI during the autumn semester of the 2025/2026 academic year under the ERASMUS+ program.

Please note that the teaching staff of Poltava Polytechnic can participate in academic mobility and traineeship programs. Students can study abroad under the Erasmus+ Credit Academic Mobility grant programs for a semester or a full academic year at leading universities in Austria, Greenland, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Finland, and the Czech Republic.
