On November 4, the Center for Education and Care of Preschool Children of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” celebrated a month of its work. Exactly one month ago, the first Center for Education and Care of Preschool Children in Ukraine was opened at the Poltava Polytechnic. During this time, the center already has many achievements, positive feedback from parents, scientists, students and from the children themselves. The teachers arranged a real holiday with movie characters and sweets.
“Dear children, colleagues and students! It is extremely gratifying that the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” was the first to open such a unique Center for Education and Care of Preschool Children.
A feature of our Center is that learning and communication with children takes place in accordance with the innovative methodology of “Mr. Leader”. A month ago, people’s deputies, in particular, Volodymyr Voronov, who is the author of the brand “Mr. Leader” and the founder of the network of Centers for Education and Care of Preschool Children, presented his unique project.
I was very pleased to hear that the children ask to come here to the Center from the very morning, and then they do not want to leave it. This shows that the right specialists have gathered here.
I thank Yevheniia Khomenko and the team that takes care of the children, Anna Aheicheva as the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy, the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, and personally Svitlana Yalanska for treating the children so well, and that our students, who are studying in the specialties “Practical Psychology” and “Preschool Education”, have the opportunity to study these unique methods.
I also heard from parents that those children who went to regular kindergartens gained less knowledge than during a month’s stay at our Center. This means that this project is very successful. I have already mentioned that the “New Ukrainian School” project is being implemented in Ukraine, and we are implementing the “New Ukrainian Kindergarten” project and, together with the team, we are modernizing Ukrainian preschool education.
There are already 15 children in our “kindergarten”, but there are more and more willing ones every day! Therefore, we will expand, since our startup has positive results. We will continue to develop our capacities and opportunities so that as many people as possible can bring their children to our Center, where our scientific and pedagogical workers can teach them a lot.
I thank parents for trusting us with your children. While the Armed Forces of Ukraine protect all of us, we do everything possible for the harmonious and intellectual development of children in safe and comfortable conditions. Children’s dreams must come true! And at the Poltava Polytechnic, dreams do come true,” – congratulated the audience the Rector of the university, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko. The rector presented the game “Twister” and a cake.
The Center is a unique educational laboratory for students of the “Psychology” and “Preschool Pedagogy” specialties, which functions at the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy. The Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Anna Aheicheva congratulated the team on the symbolic date.
“I begin my short speech with words of gratitude to Volodymyr Onyshchenko. You are truly incredible. I am sure that our children would really want to become students of our university.
I am sincerely grateful to the parents, I am grateful to the team for their smiles and innovativeness. It seems to me that the best thing we can give our children now is hope for the future, hope for our victory,” – said Anna Aheicheva.
During this month, teachers of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy actively involved students majoring in “Psychology” and “Preschool Pedagogy” in conducting practical and laboratory classes at the Center for Preschoolers.
“I am fascinated by the fact that the Center for Education and Care of Preschool Children has been operating for a month. It is unique. It is also fascinating that the Center operates on the basis of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, for which we owe the rector of the university Volodymyr Onyshchenko.
Indeed, a system implemented here is extremely original and recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. This is a system that is focused on intellectual, emotional, creative sensory components, that is, versatile development of a small child’s personality. And we thank our specialists, we thank the teachers of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, under whose leadership our students, future psychologists, future preschool education specialists can acquire hard skills, which are necessary for specialists to ensure systematic thinking, development of emotional intelligence, creativity. Already this month, our students had the opportunity to gain practical skills and work with children while studying the courses “Psychology of Creativity”, “Psychology of Children’s Creativity”, “Age Psychology”.
I wish everyone creative inspiration and may your dreams come true, both children’s and adults’,” – noted Head of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy Svitlana Yalanska.
On behalf of the parents, the mother of the pupil of the Center, Kateryna Palii, expressed her immense gratitude to the rector of the university, Volodymyr Onyshchenko, for the opportunity given to the children.
“We are sincerely grateful to you for such a wonderful, creative project. This is the dream of our children, and our dream as well. Children rush to kindergarten with joy and really look forward to meeting our teachers and students. And all this is thanks to your initiative, creativity and ideation,” – thanked Kateryna Palii.
Pupils of the center have their achievements, develop their creative potential, participate in various types of activities, cultivate leadership and personal qualities. During the celebration, children demonstrated their talents in reciting poems and choreography, performing the dance “Let Dreams Come True”. Entertainment with the actors of Yevheniia Zhako’s show theater was a pleasant surprise for the children.
Previously, the participants of the psychological studio “Path to Success” presented a palette of creative hobbies, and the winners of the first stage of the XIII Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literary Competition for Pupils and Student Youth were determined.
