Poltava Polytechnic receives free access to Coursera and edX

National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" has opened the registration of students on the Coursera and edX platforms. Undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students will be able to study for free on the resources of world leaders in online educational courses.

Coursera for Campus has opened access to more than 5,200 courses and 2,200 projects from leading Coursera’s universities and partners. National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" joined the Coursera for Campus project in 2020. Coursera is a technology company working in the field of education; was founded in April 2012 by professors of computer science Andrew Ng and Daphne Koller of Stanford University. Coursera offers its users hundreds of free online courses in various disciplines, in case of successful completion of which the user receives a certificate.

EdX provides free access to over 1,600 online courses and programs from the world's leading institutions and companies on the EdX Online Campus. EdX is a free online platform for mass open interactive courses, founded by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University in May 2012. EdX conducts online university-level courses in a wide range of disciplines for students from all over the world for free, as well as holding research in the field of education. There are now more than 100 universities, schools, nonprofits organizations, corporations, and international organizations offering or planning to offer courses on EdX.

Previously, the educational platforms Coursera and EdX stopped cooperating with the Russian Federation and announced full support for Ukraine, and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine called on global educational platforms to provide free access to educators.
