Rector of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko met with the author of the program and the founder of the brand Mr. Leader, People's Deputy of Ukraine, member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Preschool Education Volodymyr Voronov. The People's Deputy of Ukraine, observing the transformations of the education system in Ukraine, highly praised the innovative activity and leadership of the Poltava Polytechnic as one of the best Ukrainian universities.
During the meeting, they discussed opportunities and specialized educational programs offered to students of specialties 012 "Preschool Education" and 053 "Psychology" of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy of the Poltava Polytechnic.
Based on the results of fruitful professional dialogue, Rector Volodymyr Onyshchenko signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation on behalf of National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" and LLC "Mr.Leader.Global" represented by director Nataliia Pikanova.
"It is necessary to educate leaders from childhood! We are consolidating efforts to expand opportunities for practical training of those receiving higher education in specialties 012 "Preschool Education" and 053 "Psychology" and joint work on improving the standards of preschool education.
Poltava Polytechnic has long been organizing useful activities for children of different ages, and the opening of new modern specialties at the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy gives our scientists a unique opportunity to focus their attention and efforts on the introduction of the most modern pedagogical technologies into the educational process.
We will not rest on our laurels and will fill the content of the signed Memorandum with hands-on cases. In October, the Polytechnic will open an innovative center for preschoolers with studies under this program. Children-leaders will change Ukraine!" – commented Rector Volodymyr Onyshchenko.
The founder of the brand Mr. Leader and the ideological inspirer of the brand engineering agency VORONOVAGENCY Volodymyr Voronov created his own brand that develops leadership qualities in children from 2 to 12 years old. According to the brand maker, and now the people's deputy, he has been looking for leadership qualities in himself and those around him for many years, and realized that a leader lives in everyone, only practice and help from more experienced people is needed. He shared his search stories in his books on motivation and corporate leadership.
The program Mr. Leader is designed for children aged 2-6(7) and is approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. It can be practiced both by specialists in children's centers and at home by parents without having a pedagogical education.
It should be recalled that the rector of the Poltava Polytechnic took part in the pedagogical conference of the 2022-2023 academic year of the Poltava city territorial community "Education in conditions of war: safety is above everything!", and Polytechnic volunteers helped the children of IDPs to get ready to school.
